About your teacher
I hold a BA in Musical Theatre from UCLA and have been performing professionally since the age of twelve. A post-college pilgrimage from Los Angeles to Ireland led me from the theatre to the guitar, and I spent the next decade singing and storytelling with a multitude of folk bands. Along the way, I earned my certificate to teach Drama (Grades 6–8) from Daytona State College and served as lead teacher at Boulder’s Living Arts School, where I shared traditional folk arts with children ages 6–12.
With the birth of my son, Hemingway, I transitioned fully into the sacred quietude—and chaos—of motherhood, which has become my favorite role of all.
As a child, I found so much joy, confidence, and belonging in my local performing arts studio and the theater. Those spaces gave me lifelong friendships, creative expression, and a place where I felt fully myself.
While I deeply value the performing arts and the confidence they can cultivate, my vision extends beyond performance alone. I believe children are longing for places where they can connect with one another, with their own creativity, with the natural world, and with something sacred and meaningful at the heart of life.
My hope is to offer children more welcoming spaces to explore, create, make friends, gain confidence, and discover what lights them up.
The performing arts have given me so much throughout my life, and I'm excited to continue to share that love with the next generation here in the North Fork Valley.
